ICK! Sign-ups Open

Hey kids, ever wonder what a human knot looks like? How tall you can build a tower out of marshmallows and hard spaghetti strands? Or what DNA inside a strawberry looks like? Then sign up for our 8th annual ICK! (I'm a Complex Kid) event. ICK! will take place on Saturday, April 26th with a morning session taking place from 9am-1pm, and an afternoon session taking place from 2pm-6pm. Registration form can be found here. Business Card/Ice Cream Social Today

BMES Northeastern Engineering Conference

On the weekend of April 25-27, Northeastern University will be hosting a regional BMES conference to showcase various research from professors and students along with presentations by outstanding speakers. Engineering Week

Engineering week has begun with numerous events taking place this week to celebrate the marvels of science and engineering. This Saturday, BMES and Tau Beta Pi will be volunteering at the ITC to educate kids about engineering. Information and sign ups found here.

Welcome back to Binghamton fellow engineers! The Binghamton Bioengineers will be holding a General Interest meeting on Monday, February 3rd at 6pm in the Watson Commons. Pizza will be served, so come on down for news and information about BBE and the newly formed BMES (Biomedical Engineering Society) chapter on campus.

ICK!, Eboard Elections, & Cornell Visit

ICK! 2013
A big THANK YOU to everyone that came to help out with ICK! this past Saturday! We welcomed over 100 kids in grades 1 -5, and brought in over $2000 for next year! The day was a HUGE success and we couldn't have done it without you :)

Eboard Elections
Come to the Watson Commons on Monday, April 22 to elect the new Eboard for the Fall 2013 - Spring 2014 school year. Pizza will be served!

Cornell Visit

ICK! & Scheduling Fest

Scheduling Fest!
Don't know what to take next year? Come to BBE's second bi-annual Scheduling Fest on Monday, April 15 at 5PM in the Watson Commons. We'll have pizza for everyone as incentive to attend :)

ICK! Volunteers & Training
We're still looking for students to help out at ICK! (the 7th Annual Bioengineering Fair). Interested students can sign up here. Training for the event will be on Tuesday, April 16 & Wednesday, April 17 at 7pm in the Senior Design Lab (EB-D2). We try to place volunteers at the stations that they most prefer, so I ask that you please check your station preferences here by Sunday, April 14 at 5PM.
